John Steakley (innate 1951) is an author, best known for his science fiction writing. He has written deuce major novels, Armor and Vampire$, a latter of which became the undefined basis for John Carpenter's Vampires movie. He has too written there is no less than quaternity short stories in the sci-fi & fantasy genres. Not by the blame sight a prolific writer, he has lived virtually all his life around Texas, aside from brief dangerous undertaking to South United states & Hollywood around his youth. Non good deal is known just about him, although he is arguably one of a better "unknown" science fiction authors of my instance.
